I was babysitting a 2 year old boy tonight and his parents had warned me that for the past few nights he hadn't been going straight to sleep and had been waking up screaming during the night.
At approx 11:15pm I heard him screaming (and this scream was nothing like what I've heard him do before).
I walked into his room and instantly felt this dark presence lingering... So I began to pray any spirits that were not of god away in Jesus name!
As I was praying the 2 year old child stood up in his cot and started pointing at this one spot in the corner of his room whilst yelling and screaming at the top of his voice. I saw this black figure moving around so I began to pray again "If anything that is not of gods kingdom is here, I ask you to leave in the name of Jesus!" and guess what... It left.
The child stopped crying, lay back down in his cot and looked up at me. I began to pray gods peace upon him and placed my hand on his forehead. After a few minutes the Childs forehead went hot and I could feel his body shaking- I knew the presence of God was there.
Then something I never thought I would see from a 2 year old child occurred- he closed his eyes, lifted his left palm up to the ceiling and began to smile!
Matthew 18:3-4
"Truly I say to you, unless you are converted and become like
children, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven. Whoever then humbles himself as this child, he is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven"
So it says in the bible that we too must become like children!
Children know and understand the kingdom of God more then any of us, because they are completely open to the kingdom of heaven being here on earth. We must learn from these children, we mustn't under estimate who God has made them to be!
