Do you ever ask yourself;
Who am I?
What is the purpose of my life on this planet?
Do you feel that you're unfulfilled, unfocused... searching?
Are you a blank canvas? Desperately waiting for a picture of purpose to be painted on it?
Do you ever find yourself confused by Christianity?
Wondering- What does it all mean?
In the beginning "God created mankind in his own image" from the moment god spoke time into existence, he shaped us with his own hands and his plan was for God and man to be ONE- creator and creation in perfect harmony.
Sounds perfect right? So what happened?
SIN.
SIN opened a void, SIN drove us away from him, SIN separated YOU from GOD. And for many centuries human have tried to fill their void, with philosophies, religion, wealth, popularity and SIN.
There is a God shaped hole inside of us all, and we look for stuff to fill the hole- like friends, fashion, popularity, alcohol, sex, and drugs.
But God says :
"FOLLOW ME,
BECAUSE YOU KNOW DEEP DOWN INSIDE,
SOMETHING IS MISSING"
Jesus came to earth, so that we may know him intimately and personally.
He went through his life in the same way you and I do today.
He grew from an infant, to a child, to a teenager, to a man.
He endured pain, loneliness, suffering, put downs... Yet he led people with his radical and off the wall teachings like-
"LOVE YOUR ENEMYS." &
"BLESS THOSE WHO PERSECUTE YOU."
What you must first understand is that the wages of SIN is DEATH.
But the gift of God is ETERNAL LIFE, through JESUS CHRIST.
He came to pay the price for not only my SINS, but for YOURS.
The world tried to restrain him by putting nails in his hands and they hung him high on a wooden cross... until eventually he died and they buried him in a tomb. And for 3 days his mother wept, for 3 days his disciples were left lonely, angry, lost and confused.
But the world could not hold him down, because 3 days later- JESUS ROSE AGAIN!
FOR YOU AND FOR ME!
Through the cross we are now are able to vill the void inside us, to bridge the space between us and God.
And he is calling YOU!
But, YOU have to come.
You see the choice is YOURS,
he has provided all the love for YOU-
"God so loved the world that he gave his only son."
And if after reading this YOU can believe that Jesus died for YOUR sins- then no more separation,
no more fear of death,
no more voids, and holes in your heart-
THE LOVE IS HERE!
